DevOps Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across development, QA, training, and production environments.

• Standardize and enhance deployment processes to ensure consistent, reliable, and scalable delivery.

• Administer and support Azure DevOps pipelines, covering repositories, agent pools, environments, and service connections.

• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and reusable automation solutions for environment setup and application deployment.

• Configure and support both cloud and on-premises environments to guarantee performance, stability, and alignment with business objectives.

• Promote the adoption of automated testing, validation checks, and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.

• Troubleshoot issues related to builds, deployments, and environments, performing root cause analysis as necessary.

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to enhance reliability and mitigate risks.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools to improve development workflows, code validation, and pipeline efficiency.

• Assess and recommend tools and process enhancements to boost delivery performance and developer productivity.

• Collaborate with engineering teams throughout planning, design, and delivery phases.

• Provide expertise on DevOps best practices, deployment strategies, and pipeline architecture.

• Serve as a liaison among development, infrastructure, security, networking, and data teams.

• Ensure delivery processes comply with security and compliance standards, including access controls and audit requirements.

• Maintain documentation for systems, pipelines, and processes, while identifying opportunities for improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, software delivery, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering.

• Proven track record in designing and constructing DevOps platforms and CI/CD pipelines from scratch.

• Hands-on experience in managing the complete software delivery lifecycle, including source control, branching strategies, pull requests, build/deployment pipelines, and environment promotion.

• Experience working within Azure DevOps environments, specifically with Azure Repos and Azure Pipelines.

• Experience collaborating with engineering teams to standardize development, testing, and release methodologies.

• Background in supporting secure and compliant delivery processes within regulated environments is preferred.
