DevOps Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Develop, sustain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for the deployment of Angular, Java, and PHP applications.

• Oversee infrastructure as code utilizing tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• Facilitate containerization and orchestration initiatives with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Work closely with full stack developers and manual QA testers to optimize build, test, and release processes.

• Track system performance, availability, and security posture across various environments.

• Assist in diagnosing and resolving deployment and infrastructure challenges.

• Ensure compliance with relevant federal security and configuration management standards.

• Take part in on-call rotations and incident response as required.

• Record pipeline configurations, infrastructure modifications, and standard operating procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure automation position.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Strong understanding of version control workflows (Git).

• Experience in supporting cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.

• Previous experience with federal government or defense-related programs is highly preferred.

• Understanding of federal security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, RMF) is advantageous.

• An active or former security clearance is not mandatory but is a benefit.

• Candidates must be U.S. citizens and meet client eligibility requirements for federal engagements.

• Availability to work during core hours aligned with U.S. Eastern Time is required.
