DevOps Engineer – GitHub Actions, CI/CD Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain infrastructure for development and CI/CD utilizing GitHub Actions.

• Automate workflows using Python, Go, Bash, and YAML.

• Create and manage internal tools and platforms.

• Design, sustain, and enhance GitHub Actions workflows for deployment, testing, and release automation.

• Provide and oversee data for engineering and analytical purposes.

• Assist engineering teams through CI/CD, automation, internal tools, and platform operations.

• Engage in coding challenges and participate in the technical interview process as part of the hiring procedure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role within a software development organization.

• Practical experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

• Proficient in reusable workflows, self-hosted runners, secrets management, and workflow optimization.

• Experience in managing Linux-based systems.

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and relational databases.

• Proficient in scripting and automation, preferably with Python or Bash.

• Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Helm, or a strong desire to learn.

• A structured, proactive, and self-motivated approach to work.

• A passion for enhancing automation, reliability, and developer experience.

• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills in English.

• Ability to work efficiently across development and operations teams.

• Proficiency in German would be an advantage.
