DevOps Engineer, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Establish the DevOps strategy for each project.

• Build infrastructure from the ground up when necessary.

• Assume responsibility for ongoing projects and expand their scope.

• Engage directly with clients, including stakeholders at the CTO level.

• Manage documentation, processes, and access control.

• Effectively allocate time across various environments independently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.

• Proven experience as the sole DevOps professional on a project (mandatory).

• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes (deployments, troubleshooting, networking, reliability).

• Advanced understanding of GitLab CI/CD (pipelines, runners, RBAC, artifacts).

• Experience with Helm and Kubernetes manifests.

• Familiarity with GitOps methodologies, preferably using FluxCD.

• Strong experience with AWS (Azure/GCP experience is acceptable).

• Expertise in Linux operating systems.

• Proficiency in Ansible.

• A mindset focused on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.

• Knowledge of infrastructure security measures (IAM, secrets management, least privilege principles).

• Exposure to compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, audit preparation).

• Excellent ownership and client communication abilities.

• Capability to independently manage multiple client projects.
