DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist the ICT team with the development, integration, testing, and deployment processes across backend systems and client platforms, including mobile and PC environments.

• Aid in the management, configuration, and upkeep of system environments, including development and deployment settings hosted in Azure.

• Daily monitoring and analysis of system functionality, performance, and overall health.

• Report, coordinate, and track technical issues pertaining to system environments.

• Liaise with system vendors and contractors regarding technical matters on behalf of Frontex ICT.

• Deliver technical assistance to ICT staff and project teams for the deployment and configuration of development environments in Azure.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in an ICT-related discipline.

• A minimum of 8 years of professional IT experience relevant to the role.

• At least 3 years of project experience or experience in a similar capacity.

• Strong knowledge of software deployment management and a solid understanding of software release management.

• Extensive experience in administering and troubleshooting ASP.NET applications on Microsoft IIS.

• Comprehensive understanding of IIS configuration, including application pools, websites, bindings, SSL certificates, and authentication methods.

• Essential knowledge of Azure DevOps.

• Significant experience with Git-based workflows.

• Familiarity with RUP and/or Agile methodologies.

• Understanding of application servers, development tools, and relational database management systems (RDBMS).

• Experience with build and deployment tools such as Ant and Azure Pipelines.

• Proven experience in managing CI/CD processes for complex, mission-critical enterprise systems.

• Knowledge of Active Directory integration, Group Policies, service accounts, and Windows security principles.

• Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ASP.NET applications.

• Ability to automate application deployments and updates to environment configurations.

• Proficient in English at a B2 level.
