DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain highly available cloud infrastructure.

• Configure and oversee Cloudflare services, encompassing WAF, SSL/TLS, DNS, and API automation.

• Deploy, manage, and enhance Kubernetes clusters across GKE, EKS, and self-hosted environments.

• Construct and refine CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab CI/CD.

• Automate the processes for Docker image builds and deployments.

• Implement and uphold monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

• Enhance the performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of cloud infrastructure.

• Set up auto-scaling and load balancing for cloud environments.

• Administer and provide support for production databases.

• Collaborate with Development, QA, Product, and Security teams to enhance infrastructure reliability and delivery processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.

• Strong practical experience with Kubernetes, including GKE, EKS, and self-hosted clusters.

• Experience in deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.

• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.

• Solid understanding of Docker and deployment of containerized applications.

• Experience in configuring and managing Cloudflare services, including WAF, SSL/TLS, DNS, and API automation.

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.

• Experience in database administration with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization (FinOps).

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and automation.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Sufficient English proficiency for reading technical documentation and communicating with international teams.

• Experience with Datadog, Global Load Balancers in Google Cloud, or scalable high-load infrastructure is advantageous.
