DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of a global IVR system's operations

• Support the deployment of applications to both AWS and on-premises architectures

• Track the performance and stability of the IVR environment across all regions

• Address operational requirements promptly

• Availability for some evening and weekend shifts, as required by business needs

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of AWS S3, EC2, Auto Scaling, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch

• Proficiency in Unix (MacOS and Linux versions)

• Understanding of MySQL commands and syntax

• Basic networking skills (nslookup, ping, netcat, traceroute, tcpdump, etc.)

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC)

• Background in configuring Auto Scaling Groups (ASG)

• Familiarity with AWS Lambda and horizontal scaling techniques

• Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with team members and external partners

• Acquainted with Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server

• Knowledge of Cisco Splunk querying

• Experience with Genesys configuration manager

• Basic understanding of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)

• Experience working with IVRs

• Understanding of Call Center Systems Operations
