• Platform & IaC Ownership: Evaluate and execute infrastructure designs for services and shared components, managing them as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing tools such as Terraform and Helm in our cloud environment (AWS).
• Delivery Lifecycle Management: Architect and establish resilient CI/CD pipelines and oversee the entire delivery lifecycle of infrastructure tools, services, and components from development testing to production deployment.
• Developer Enablement: Engage in regular support sessions to provide hands-on technical guidance and expertise to development teams concerning platform adoption and utilization.
• Reliability Integration: Incorporate and sustain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for platform services, and participate in the team's on-call rotation for prompt incident response within the scope of platform ownership.
• Security & Compliance: Work closely with the Security team to integrate DevSecOps best practices and safeguards, ensuring the platform's security and compliance throughout the delivery process.
• Process Improvement: Lead ongoing enhancements in the usability of platform tools, deployment efficiency, and environmental stability.
• Education: Although a degree in Computer Science or IT is advantageous, we prioritize your technical capabilities and practical experience. Certifications (Bonus): Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is highly recommended, along with relevant certifications from major cloud providers (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).
• Experience: At least 4 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Platform, or SRE role, focusing on managing and troubleshooting production environments built on AWS and Kubernetes (EKS). Demonstrated experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and IaC infrastructure for extensive microservice architectures.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in Kubernetes and Terraform for the provisioning of cloud resources (AWS) and managing infrastructure as code (IaC). Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins). Strong scripting capabilities (Bash, Python/Go) for automation. Solid knowledge of Networking fundamentals (VPC, DNS, Load Balancing). Familiarity with AI/ML-related services (e.g., AWS Bedrock, SageMaker) is an added advantage.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong grasp of Observability, DevSecOps, and basic FinOps (cloud cost estimation) practices.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to convey complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Candidates must exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, taking full ownership of tasks and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
