• Ownership of Platform & IaC: Evaluate and implement infrastructure designs for services and shared components, managing them as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Helm within our cloud environment (AWS).
• Management of Delivery Lifecycle: Create and implement robust CI/CD pipelines while overseeing the entire delivery lifecycle of infrastructure tools, services, and components from development testing to production rollout.
• Developer Support: Engage in regular support meetings to offer hands-on technical assistance and expertise to development teams regarding the adoption and usage of the platform.
• Integration of Reliability: Incorporate and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting components for platform services, and participate in the team's on-call rotation for swift incident resolution within the scope of platform ownership.
• Security and Compliance: Work closely with the Security team to integrate DevSecOps best practices and guidelines, ensuring the platform's security and compliance throughout the delivery process.
• Improvement of Processes: Lead ongoing enhancements in platform tooling usability, deployment efficiency, and environment stability.
• Education: A degree in Computer Science or IT is advantageous, but we prioritize your technical skills and real-world experience. Certifications (Bonus): Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is highly sought after, along with relevant certifications from major cloud providers (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).
• Experience: At least 4 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Platform, or SRE role, focusing on operating and troubleshooting production environments built on AWS and Kubernetes (EKS). Demonstrated experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and IaC infrastructure for large-scale microservice architectures.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in Kubernetes and Terraform for provisioning cloud resources (AWS) and managing infrastructure as code (IaC). Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins). Strong scripting abilities (Bash, Python/Go) for automation. Solid grasp of Networking fundamentals (VPC, DNS, Load Balancing). Familiarity with AI/ML-related services (e.g., AWS Bedrock, SageMaker) is a plus.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Observability, DevSecOps, and basic FinOps (cloud cost estimation) practices.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, taking full ownership of tasks and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
