DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, improve, and maintain Azure Infrastructure-as-Code utilizing ARM modules and examples.

• Construct and manage CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub to validate, package, and deploy SCIA automation.

• Create operational automation to facilitate patching, scaling, diagnostics enforcement, cost optimization, and policy compliance.

• Lead technical onboarding sessions with application teams and address deployment or configuration challenges.

• Engage in PI planning, backlog refinement, and change-managed release processes.

• Conduct code reviews and offer technical mentorship to junior engineers.

• Take ownership of critical automation components and contribute to measurable enhancements in platform reliability, security, and Azure cost efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation roles.

• Practical experience in deploying and managing workloads in Microsoft Azure.

• Strong automation and scripting capabilities using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• 2–5 years of direct experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript for automation, tooling, or CI/CD pipeline development.

• Familiarity with enterprise environments that involve formal change management and release controls.
