DevOps Engineer

Posted Jun 20

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks throughout engineering and the broader business by implementing DevOps and agile methodologies instead of relying on a predetermined toolset.

• Construct and uphold CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code to ensure reliable delivery of work.

• Assess, refine, and secure prototype and AI-generated applications from non-engineering teams, transforming them into secure, production-ready systems (core VibeOps responsibilities).

• Implement authentication, testing, dependency and secret scanning, as well as appropriate deployment pathways for department-created tools prior to their interaction with actual data.

• Enhance DevSecOps practices including dependency scanning, SAST/DAST, security smell testing, and proactive vulnerability management.

• Develop and sustain automations and integrations that enhance efficiency across Support, Onboarding, Sales, and Engineering.

• Design and troubleshoot APIs.

• Assist with compliance requirements and security testing processes.

• Collaborate closely with non-technical teams to comprehend their developments and elevate them to standard.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer position.

• Proven ability to address problems holistically—identifying the true bottleneck and tackling the issue rather than resorting to familiar tools.

• Authentic expertise in agile and DevOps methodologies, demonstrated through practical application rather than mere exposure.

• Strong sense of agency and adaptability in learning—exhibiting ownership and quick acclimatization.

• Capability to review, refine, and fortify prototype or AI-generated code into secure, production-quality systems.

• Proficient in scripting and development languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, or Java.

• Experience with CI/CD, pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.

• Familiarity with security tools including dependency scanning, SAST/DAST, and vulnerability management.

• Robust API design and troubleshooting abilities, with comfort in partnering with non-technical teams to ensure maintainability of their creations.

• Additional expertise with SIEMs or compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2), and experience with AI agent workflows or automation will be considered a plus.

🏝️ Benefits

• Health, dental, vision, life & LTD insurance.

• Generous monthly wellness budget for gym memberships, yoga, etc.

• Premium subscription to the Calm app.

• One Medical membership.

• Flexible and unlimited PTO.
