DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform for the provisioning and management of Azure resources.

• Construct and enhance CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated infrastructure deployment and application release cycles.

• Oversee Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure, which includes VMs, App Services, AKS/ACS, databases, and networking.

• Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as DataDog.

• Establish and uphold infrastructure security best practices, compliance standards, and disaster recovery protocols.

• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and encourage knowledge sharing among team members.

• Collaborate with development teams to resolve infrastructure issues and enhance application performance.

• Lead initiatives related to infrastructure planning and capacity management.

• Document architectural decisions and rationale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.

• Practical knowledge of Terraform and principles of Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience in production environments with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services and resources.

• Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

• Familiarity with designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions.

• Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud container services.

• Experience with tools for infrastructure monitoring and observability.

• Extensive knowledge of cloud security, network architecture, and identity management.

• Familiarity with Terraform, Azure/AWS compute, networking, storage, and databases.

• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.

• Proficiency in Git version control and collaborative development practices.

• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and alerting techniques.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

• Capability to mentor and support junior team members.

• Commitment to proactive continuous learning and staying updated with cloud technologies.

• Experience working collaboratively across functions.

• Base salary range of 150,000.00 to 187,000.00 PLN annually.
