DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to create scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure solutions.

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions to convert complex business requirements into actionable technical architecture.

• Develop and present impactful proofs-of-concept, technical demonstrations, and comprehensive documentation for partners.

• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure successful product implementations and a seamless product-market fit.

• Assist in pre-sales engagements by showcasing technical capabilities and addressing detailed architectural requirements.

• Diagnose complex integration issues and provide expert advice on infrastructure best practices.

• Represent the voice of the customer by collecting feedback and contributing to discussions on the product roadmap.

• Conduct technical enablement sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs for enterprise clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, Solutions Engineering, or Cloud Engineering position.

• In-depth technical knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, REST/GraphQL APIs, and CI/CD workflows.

• Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, JavaScript, or a comparable language.

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with a proven track record of conveying complex technical concepts to varied audiences.

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in high-traffic production environments is a plus.

• Background in performance tuning for relational and NoSQL databases is advantageous.

• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipeline automation is a bonus.
