DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold AWS infrastructure utilizing Terraform — including ECS Fargate, VPCs, RDS, S3, IAM, and associated services.

• Oversee and enhance GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines across various environments.

• Collaborate within our Infrastructure as Code orchestration (TACOS) system for multi-tenant deployments.

• Assist in AWS networking — including VPC design, security groups, Route 53, and fundamentals of PrivateLink.

• Aid in maintaining security protocols — encompassing IAM policies, logging, alerting, and access reviews.

• Contribute to the collection of compliance evidence for SOC 2 / ISO 27001.

• Diagnose infrastructure challenges across ECS, networking, DNS, and security.

• Create and update runbooks and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud, or SRE position.

• Strong foundational knowledge of AWS — including VPC, ECS or EKS, IAM, S3, and RDS.

• Proficient in Terraform — capable of writing and reviewing HCL at the module level.

• Familiarity with GitHub Actions CI/CD — involving building, debugging, and maintaining pipelines.

• Experience with Linux, bash, and scripting.

• Security-conscious — understanding of least-privilege IAM and basics of secrets management.

• Strong written communication skills for effective asynchronous remote collaboration.
