DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Oversee, configure, and automate cloud infrastructure utilizing tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines for consistent and reliable deployments using tools like Jenkins and Datadog.

• Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to create scalable and highly available systems.

• Manage and enhance virtualized environments with VMware vSphere.

• Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and manage them with Docker.

• Maintain build artifacts through Nexus Repository Manager.

• Collaborate with teams using Bitbucket Cloud, Jira, and Confluence to ensure alignment and transparency.

• Monitor infrastructure and application performance with Datadog and Sentry for real-time error tracking and observability.

• Consistently seek opportunities to enhance automation, reliability, and deployment speed across environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or a comparable role in cloud infrastructure.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Proficient in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform; experience with Ansible is a significant advantage.

• Solid grasp of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) along with experience using GKE or other orchestration platforms.

• Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred).

• Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging best practices for distributed systems.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, or Shell for automation and tooling.

• Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in dynamic, agile environments.
