DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Ensure the dependability and security of our cloud infrastructures to facilitate the success of our partners.

• Develop and enhance Terraform modules within a multi-tenant architecture (AWS).

• Oversee the provisioning of new client environments.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on existing clusters.

• Serve as the technical lead for ISO 27001 and SWIFT CSP compliance initiatives.

• Enhance monitoring, backup management (HA), patching, and cloud cost efficiency.

• Administer Azure AD, oversee the workstation fleet, and deliver daily user support.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1. Role objective: Fortify the DevOps team to accommodate growth in the client pipeline (deployments, reliability, security) and organize internal IT support.

• 2. Main responsibilities: Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and enhance Terraform modules within a multi-tenant architecture (AWS).

• Operations & Deployments: Oversee the provisioning of new client environments and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance on existing clusters.

• Security & Compliance: Serve as the technical lead for ISO 27001 and SWIFT CSP compliance.

• Reliability & Run: Enhance monitoring, backup management (HA), patching, and cloud cost efficiency.

• IT Management & Support (the "30%" aspect): Administer Azure AD, manage the workstation fleet (technical onboarding/offboarding), and provide practical daily user support.

• 3. Expected skills: Technical: Proficient in the AWS stack, Terraform, Linux, and cluster management.

• Expertise in high-availability and backup strategies is essential.

• 4. Compliance: Familiarity with or strong understanding of security frameworks is crucial.

• 5. Mission plan (30-60-90 days): 30 days: Acquaint yourself with the current Terraform architecture and independently handle IT onboarding for new employees.

• 60 days: Actively engage in ISO 27001 remediation projects and implement the initial deployments of new client environments.

• 90 days: Attain complete autonomy over the infrastructure scope and propose enhancements for monitoring and backup strategies.

• 6. What the role is NOT: A "Lead" or purely "Architect" position. Not a conventional "Sysadmin" role.
