DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab and various automation tools.

• Manage and enhance infrastructure within AWS and Azure ecosystems.

• Deploy, administer, and resolve issues with applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Execute GitOps workflows through ArgoCD.

• Automate provisioning and configuration management employing Ansible and AWX.

• Oversee and maintain Linux and Windows Server systems in hybrid environments.

• Collaborate on release engineering activities: versioning, packaging, testing, and automated deployments.

• Monitor system performance, enforce security protocols, and guarantee high availability for essential services.

• Create automation, tools, and scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

• Diagnose production issues across various systems and platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a comparable role with a minimum of three (3) years in the field.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud infrastructures and services.

• Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in Linux administration and shell scripting.

• Familiarity with GitOps practices and ArgoCD.

• Experience in configuration management using Ansible and orchestration with AWX.

• Strong comprehension of CI/CD processes utilizing GitLab.

• Understanding of release engineering principles: build processes, artifact repositories, and deployment workflows.

• Excellent troubleshooting abilities across software, infrastructure, and network layers.

• Strong scripting capabilities (Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar).
