DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and efficient AWS infrastructure.

• Support end-to-end AWS migration efforts, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to modern cloud solutions.

• Work with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices, automation techniques, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Participate in the development of system and application deployment strategies focusing on high availability, fault tolerance, and performance.

• Aid in the maintenance and enhancement of internal processes and workflows for effective project delivery, promoting seamless collaboration among development, operations, and other teams.

• Implement and manage containerization solutions utilizing Kubernetes and Docker for application deployment and scalability.

• Leverage CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, and CircleCI to automate the software delivery pipeline and ensure continuous integration and deployment.

• Apply the principles of the AWS Well-Architected Framework to ensure the infrastructure is reliable, secure, efficient, and cost-effective.

• Keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in Data, Machine Learning, and AI, and use this knowledge to enhance our technical offerings.

• Foster clear communication with team members, promoting a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• AWS Professional and specialty certifications are a significant advantage.

• 2–4 years of practical experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, ECS, etc.

• Experience in supporting AWS migration and modernization initiatives.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, and CircleCI.

• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and hands-on experience with relevant tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Experience with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its best practices.

• Exposure to Data, Machine Learning, or AI technologies is desirable.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex challenges.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
