DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the management and configuration of our cloud-based product and service offerings within KAM

• Developing and refining SaaS product offerings with a strong emphasis on reliability, scalability, observability, and well-architected principles

• Overseeing and enhancing CI/CD platforms and pipelines, promoting end-to-end automation throughout code building, testing, deployment, and wider software delivery lifecycles in partnership with security engineering

• Implementing automation strategies for infrastructure, virtual machines, and containerized environments across various rapidly expanding cloud platforms

• Supporting the advancement of DevOps culture and practices within the organization

• Managing, maintaining, and consistently improving operational runbooks and playbooks

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in public cloud computing, mainly with Microsoft Azure, along with advantageous knowledge of AWS to facilitate multi-cloud environments

• Proficient in configuration management and infrastructure-as-code, with essential expertise in Terraform/OpenTofu and added value placed on tools such as Ansible, Pulumi, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Bicep

• Excellent understanding of fundamental infrastructure concepts including virtual machines, serverless computing, networking, storage, and databases

• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, build/test automation, and tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, PowerShell, and Bash

• Capable of managing containerized workloads using Azure Container Apps, AWS ECS, and Docker, with desirable experience in Kubernetes and Helm

• Comfortable working remotely with occasional visits to the Olney office, collaborating effectively with east-coast US colleagues

• Responsible for some on-call and out-of-hours duties
