DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of scalable infrastructures within AWS and hybrid cloud settings.

• Support the management of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) utilizing Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

• Aid in the upkeep of Linux-based systems.

• Contribute to efforts in containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.

• Engage in the design, deployment, and management of AI agent workloads.

• Monitor AI API usage and infrastructure expenses, implementing necessary alerts and controls.

• Oversee monitoring and observability initiatives with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance system reliability, performance, and uptime.

• Construct, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, BitBucket CI/CD, or similar platforms.

• Adhere to secure DevOps practices and assist in the implementation of security controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar position.

• Practical experience with AWS (e.g., EC2, ECS, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch).

• Proficient knowledge of Linux environments.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Basic to intermediate scripting skills in Python, Bash, or comparable languages.

• Experience in constructing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines and associated tools.

• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

• Understanding of secure DevOps practices and fundamental compliance concepts.

• Experience in supporting AI or machine learning workloads and compute environments (preferred).

• Familiarity with AI model deployment pipelines and model versioning practices (preferred).
