DevOps Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Cloud Operations Engineers to design, manage, and enhance scalable services utilizing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

• Guarantee the reliability, performance, and observability of both cloud-native and on-premises container platforms

• Develop and maintain our Infrastructure-as-Code ecosystem using Bicep, ARM templates, and Terraform

• Enhance and support CI/CD capabilities within Azure DevOps (pipelines, boards, Git repositories)

• Work together with cross-functional technical teams to advance automation and modernize operational workflows

• Serve as a technical escalation point for global Operations Support teams

• Implement improvements across deployments, infrastructure, and monitoring with a focus on automation

• Keep comprehensive and accurate documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles

• Provide support and maintenance for PostgreSQL instances operating in cloud and containerized settings

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience deploying Kubernetes in production environments

• Familiarity with Docker containers and cloud-native architectural patterns

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)

• Experience in managing and optimizing PostgreSQL in cloud or containerized settings

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

• Security-oriented, with an automation-driven approach

• Capability to oversee multiple projects while managing operational duties

• Comfortable working in rapidly evolving environments

• Good to have experience with the ELK (Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana) stack

• Azure Administrator experience or certification is a plus

• Understanding of cloud networking and security principles

• Experience with CI/CD automation in Azure DevOps
