DevOps Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate advisory and Roadmapping sessions focused on DevOps for our clients.

• Oversee the design and execution of our DevOps solutions, including CI/CD pipelining for codebases like JavaScript, Java, and .NET.

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes (EKS), and potentially Spinnaker, JenkinsX, and FlowCD.

• Ensure strict approval processes for deployments across all environments, including Development, staging, and production.

• Administer cloud resources across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with an emphasis on Azure and AWS as the primary providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in DevOps and DevSecOps practices, with a proven history of successful implementations.

• Strong skills in building, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud-based solutions.

• Proficient in deploying cloud technologies using IaaS and PaaS components, especially within AWS or Azure environments.

• Demonstrated capability to deliver projects punctually and to a high standard, emphasizing efficiency and effectiveness.

• Practical experience with high-scale and auto-scaling deployments, utilizing tools such as Terraform.

• Knowledge of GitLab as a preferred source code repository and CI/CD platform.

• Expertise in CI/CD technologies including log streaming & analysis, source code repositories, artifact repositories, container management and orchestration, code quality tools, and automated provisioning and deployment scripts.

• Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and/or Azure, with experience in Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with scripting languages like Shell, and proficiency in Linux, Windows, and networking.

• Understanding of deployment methodologies, including Blue-Green and Canary deployments.

• Familiar with Agile Development Methodology, with a preference for experience in the Scrum process.

• Previous consulting experience in deploying shrink-wrap or SaaS products is a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead advisory sessions.

• Proven problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, capable of addressing complex challenges with confidence and creativity.

• Dedication to keeping abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, fostering continuous innovation and improvement within the organization.
