This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee the management of Azure DevOps organizations, projects, repositories, pipelines, boards, artifacts, and test plans.
• Administer users, groups, permissions, security policies, branch policies, and access controls.
• Set up Azure DevOps service connections, variable groups, secure files, environments, and deployment approvals.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and monitor Microsoft-hosted and self-hosted build agents.
• Design, construct, and sustain YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate application builds, testing, container image creation, and deployments.
• Manage Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service clusters across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Deploy and oversee applications utilizing Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and GitOps methodologies.
• Configure Kubernetes deployments, services, ingress controllers, namespaces, ConfigMaps, secrets, persistent volumes, and autoscaling.
• Handle Docker images and private container registries, including Azure Container Registry.
• Monitor cluster performance, application health, resource usage, logs, and deployment status.
• Diagnose issues with failed pipelines, container problems, networking challenges, storage failures, and Kubernetes workloads.
• Enforce role-based access control, workload identities, secrets management, and security best practices.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI.
• Facilitate zero-downtime deployments using rolling updates, blue-green deployments, and canary releases.
• Implement monitoring and alerting with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, disaster recovery plans, and system architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, security teams, and technical leadership.
• Ensure a secure and reliable DevOps platform, enhance deployment speed and consistency, minimize failures, strengthen Kubernetes operations, and support effective application delivery across various environments.
• A minimum of three years of experience in DevOps, cloud administration, systems administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience administering Azure DevOps Services or Azure DevOps Server.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Proven track record in building and supporting production CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Docker, container registries, and container lifecycle management.
• Experience with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and repository security.
• Proficiency in writing YAML, PowerShell, Bash, or another scripting language.
• Familiarity with Azure networking, identity management, Key Vault, storage, and monitoring.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Preferred: experience with Helm, Argo CD, Flux, or other GitOps tools.
• Preferred: knowledge of NGINX Ingress Controller, Azure Application Gateway, DNS, certificates, and load balancing.
• Preferred: experience with Kubernetes security, network policies, pod security standards, and secrets management.
• Preferred: familiarity with SQL Server, Redis, RabbitMQ, and other containerized services.
• Preferred: experience supporting highly available, multi-tenant, or distributed applications.
• Preferred: certification in Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
