This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research, draft, and refine engaging grant proposals, letters of inquiry, one-pagers, and various fundraising materials, while tracking and documenting all submissions;
• Create accurate and timely grant reports along with other donor communications for existing funders, and consistently gather and compile relevant impact stories and data;
• Assist in the development pipeline by researching potential funders and prospects, preparing briefing materials for meetings, and coordinating follow-ups to nurture relationships;
• Collaborate with the VP of Growth to formulate, execute, and oversee a comprehensive annual and multi-year fundraising strategy aimed at driving revenue growth and ensuring long-term financial sustainability;
• Enhance the team's development processes, pipeline tracking, metrics, and reporting, including maintaining up-to-date Funding Partner records in Salesforce;
• Work alongside the Communications and Marketing team to create brand-aligned, donor-facing materials such as one-pagers and pitch decks;
• Aid in the planning and execution of special events and projects, as required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in development, fundraising, or investor relations, with 4-5 years preferred;
• Strong capabilities in grant writing and proposal development, with a proven track record of producing successful fundraising materials;
• Experience in crafting and delivering grant reports and donor communications;
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to agentic AI and LLM-powered tools, including a willingness to adopt AI-assisted proposal and RFP platforms, and leverage these tools to map and organize our funder and partner network;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the capability to present complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner;
• Proficiency in proofreading and copyediting;
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively;
• Self-driven with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team;
