Development Lead – Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical architecture, development, and implementation of solutions utilizing Java, AWS, Spring, Kafka, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and advanced Prompt Engineering methodologies.

• Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders to guarantee that technical strategies align with business goals.

• Mentor and guide developers to foster technical excellence and a culture of continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security protocols.

• Lead architectural choices and encourage technological advancement.

• Conduct technical discussions, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.

• Recognize and address technical risks and obstacles to delivery.

• Cultivate an environment of collaboration, quality, and accountability among team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proficiency in English at a C2 level (both written and spoken).

• Demonstrated experience as a Development Lead within software development settings, ideally in financial services technology.

• Strong technical skills in: Java.

• AWS cloud services.

• Spring Framework.

• Kafka messaging systems.

• Kubernetes (K8s) orchestration.

• PostgreSQL.

• Advanced Prompt Engineering techniques.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in squads.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to function effectively in remote, distributed, and cross-functional teams.
