Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Designing and tailoring new software applications to improve functionality and enhance user experience.

• Overseeing software updates and release processes.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to create solutions that fulfill business requirements.

• Providing mentorship to junior staff members.

• Managing technical documentation effectively.

• Utilizing performance metrics to enhance software reliability.

• Working closely with Quality Assurance to ensure adherence to technical specifications.

• Overseeing documentation management.

• Analyzing market trends.

• Participating in or leading collaborative development sessions.

• Spearheading the strategic development and implementation of the AI Ops platform and software development solutions.

• Evaluating, identifying, and developing software solutions for both public and private cloud environments.

• Possessing expert-level experience in leveraging AWS to construct software and automated testing frameworks.

• Training and supervising the activities of development team members.

• Planning, tracking, and scheduling software deliverables in collaboration with the program team.

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to IT operations automation solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in coding and developing with Golang, Python, R, or another comparable programming language.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing and conducting pair programming reviews using source code management tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions.

• Practical experience in developing Infrastructure as Code (IAC) solutions, including work with LLMs, prompt engineering, and/or agent frameworks.

• Knowledge of REST APIs and experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms.

• Proficient in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration details, deployment instructions, and troubleshooting guides.

• Experience in maintaining architecture diagrams, such as sequence diagrams and software specification diagrams.

• Leading and introducing new design concepts to the product portfolio.

• Extensive knowledge of the software development process and related technologies.

• Strong understanding of design patterns and architectural styles.

• Proficient knowledge of agile software operations and development methodologies.

• Ability to develop software in Golang, Python, or Java.

• Strong soft skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
