Developer Success Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Assist external developers in navigating Loop's APIs and help them strategize their integrations prior to commencing development.

• Establish and oversee sandbox environments that provide integration partners with a dependable space for building and testing on Loop's platform.

• Aid developers during testing and validation phases, ensuring their integrations function as intended before going live with a client.

• Diagnose integration challenges as they occur, collaborating closely with internal Engineering and Product teams to rapidly unblock external developers.

• Develop and sustain client-facing technical documentation, which includes API guides, integration walkthroughs, and troubleshooting resources, aiding developers in self-service and success.

• Collaborate with the Onboarding team to train and launch new Loop Anywhere clients, acting as the technical resource from the initial kickoff to the go-live stage.

• Gather and relay feedback from external developers to the Product and Engineering teams, facilitating the evolution of Loop's platform based on practical integration experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience as a software engineer, with familiarity in APIs, integrations, and developer-centric platforms.

• Proficient in working with modern web stacks; experience with PHP/Laravel is advantageous, although we prioritize aptitude over specific technology stacks.

• Capable of producing clear and useful technical documentation, including API references, step-by-step guides, and tutorials, and committed to making complex concepts accessible.

• Knowledgeable about e-commerce ecosystems and possess hands-on experience with webhooks, event-driven patterns, or third-party integrations.

• Enthusiastic about directly engaging with developers, translating technical complexities into practical guidance.

• Interested in AI tools and their potential to enhance the developer experience.

• Work with intensity and maintain high standards for your own output and that of those around you. You provide direct feedback, seek assistance early, and tackle setbacks with a sense of ownership rather than withdrawal.

• Able to share instances of learning from mistakes, seeking help, and evolving through feedback.

🏝️ Benefits

• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.

• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.

• Flexible work hours and remote work options.

• Opportunities for professional growth and development.

• A supportive and inclusive company culture.
