Developer Relations Manager, Telecom

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Build and nurture trusted relationships with leading researchers in 6G and AI-RAN from network vendors, academia, and startups.

• Serve as the subject matter expert on critical 6G topics by identifying and engaging with relevant researchers.

• Perform simulation studies, create algorithms, and evaluate benchmark results.

• Submit intellectual property filings and author papers for publication in esteemed journals.

• Participate in 3GPP and AI-RAN alliance meetings, contribute to discussions, and foster partnerships within these organizations.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including NV Research, engineering, and solution architects, to align tasks with our mission.

• Tackle complex challenges in the implementation of AI-native RAN, devise strategies, and execute solutions to meet project goals.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to promote innovation and ensure project outcomes meet or surpass NVIDIA’s quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in a relevant discipline, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics (or equivalent experience).

• Over 8 years of hands-on research experience in Radio Access Network (RAN) architecture and algorithm design at reputable research institutions and universities.

• Practical experience in defining and coding AI/ML and LLM algorithms in RAN, demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications.

• Strong understanding of hardware options for the RAN stack and a vision for advancing the industry towards accelerated computing.

• In-depth knowledge of AI and GenAI applications in wireless networks is essential.

• Excellent ability to represent the organization in industry forums and submit papers effectively.

• Proven track record of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced entrepreneurial setting and achieving results.
