This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage Render's daily engagement across X, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Discord: interact with developers, respond to inquiries, and contribute to meaningful discussions.
• Deliver a consistent stream of short-form technical content: threads, posts, code snippets, demos, and timely insights on industry trends.
• Identify and participate promptly in discussions where Render holds a credible stance.
• Foster relationships with developer creators, community moderators, and early adopters within Render's ecosystem.
• Organize AMAs, livestreams, and community initiatives on Discord and Reddit; assist in hackathons and community events.
• Create longer-form technical content (such as blog posts, videos, sample applications) aimed at enhancing social sharing.
• Occasionally represent Render at conferences, meetups, and podcasts when the audience alignment is appropriate.
• Act as the internal advocate for developers, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Support, and Marketing to highlight community priorities and influence the roadmap.
• Monitor effectiveness through community growth, engagement, sentiment, and subsequent signups; focus on strategies that yield results.
• 4-6 years of experience in developer relations, developer marketing, community management, content creation, or a hands-on engineering role with a strong public engagement aspect.
• An active and established presence on at least one major developer platform (X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitch, or similar) with a portfolio of content to showcase.
• Solid technical background: adept with modern infrastructure, web frameworks, and capable of delivering functional code.
• Deep understanding of online developer communities: aware of what resonates on X, Reddit, and Discord, and able to express a strong viewpoint without being condescending.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Proactive approach to rapid execution and iteration.

• Established connections with developer creators and community moderators.
• Proven success in building a developer audience from the ground up.
• Comfortable on camera or microphone.
• Experience in developer cloud, hosting, or infrastructure products.
