This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Execute a range of programming tasks that necessitate an understanding of established programming protocols and data processing standards.

• Sustain, adjust, design, and create new programs within existing systems.

• Offer suggestions for enhancing these systems.

• Collaborate with project management and architects on the design and development of applications.

• Develop applications, components, and services utilizing C#.NET and Microsoft web technologies to fulfill business requirements.

• Assess business needs and processes to provide precise estimates for development efforts.

• Interpret documented business requirements and technical specifications.

• Conduct coding in accordance with written technical specifications and standards.

• Investigate, analyze, and document reported defects.

• Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.

• Provide reasonable and fair estimates for assigned tasks, work efforts, and projects.

• Stay updated with trends in software development, offer recommendations, and implement IT-related best practices, processes, and systems.

• Mentor less experienced team members in both technical skills and interpersonal abilities.

• Offer guidance on new tools, technologies, and development methodologies.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (DevOps, infrastructure, business) and communicate clearly to align on requirements, priorities, and deliverables.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

• .NET certification is highly recommended.

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience with a combination of C#.NET 8.0, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, React, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Strong SQL skills (Oracle preferred but not mandatory).

• Comprehensive understanding of the development lifecycle, SDLC processes, and guidelines.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a diverse, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture.

• Experience with third-party controls such as Telerik ASP.NET controls is a bonus.

• Experience in developing applications using React.JS or React Native is a plus.
