Developer Engagement Representative – Part-Time Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the moderation rules and guidelines of Roblox.

• Identify and engage with potential partners within the developer community to cultivate and sustain a robust partnership pipeline.

• Organize and carry out both online and offline community events, workshops, and initiatives that inspire and connect developers across different regions.

• Oversee programs from their initial concept to successful completion, establishing clear objectives, tracking milestones, and assessing outcomes.

• Assist in translation and localization efforts to ensure that programs, communications, and resources are accessible and culturally pertinent to global audiences.

• Adhere to established team processes while pinpointing opportunities to enhance and streamline workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of Roblox and its community.

• Good standing concerning Roblox moderation history.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and one of the applied languages.

• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, both online and offline.

• A proactive and flexible approach, coupled with a passion for supporting and advancing a global developer ecosystem.

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented mindset.

• A belief that aiding the community is vital to the company's success.

• A genuine desire to empower and motivate our developer community.

• Knowledge of community processes, methodologies, and best practices.

• Experience with gaming communities, game jams, or virtual/hybrid event planning is advantageous.

• Preference given to early career professionals or recent graduates.
