This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• The role of Guidewire InsuranceNow Developer / Senior Developer centers around platform configuration, development using Java, integrations, production support, and customization of InsuranceNow.

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of applications on the Guidewire InsuranceNow platform.

• Configuring product definitions, rating logic, and policy lifecycle processes.

• Creating and troubleshooting APIs and integrations based on Java.

• Providing support for custom development, deployments, and resolving issues across various environments.

• Conducting log analysis, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.

• Engaging in code reviews and managing production support tasks.

• Overseeing project risks, timelines, and multiple workstreams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, and web technologies.

• Proficiency with Apache Tomcat.

• Practical knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.

• Familiarity with XML, HTML, JavaScript, and Apache Velocity.

• Experience utilizing development tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, GitHub, SharePoint, and Jira.

• Strong capabilities in troubleshooting, debugging, log analysis, and production support.

• Desirable skills: Understanding of Amazon Web Services and cloud infrastructure.

• Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance processes and the related business domain.
