This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Contribute to the technical architecture decisions for our public-facing web application during its early and developmental phase; suggest scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack web applications utilizing Vue.js for the front end and Node.js (or an equivalent) for the back end.
• Create and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, which are actively utilized by our field teams.
• Collaborate closely with product, science, and operations stakeholders to implement features that align with Coral Gardeners' goals.
• Produce clean, readable, well-documented, and production-ready code adhering to industry best practices.
• Write unit and integration tests; apply TDD methodologies and contribute to reliable, bug-free releases.
• Stay updated with advancements in web and mobile technologies and propose enhancements where applicable.
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience, including substantial work in iOS and full-stack web development, with applications delivered to production.
• Strong expertise in Vue.js for front-end development (experience with React is an advantage).
• Strong skills in Swift and SwiftUI for iOS development.
• Solid experience in back-end web development (Node.js or equivalent).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and the iOS app lifecycle, including memory management and performance optimization.
• Experience contributing to system design and architectural decisions, preferably with early-stage products.
• Knowledge of TDD and automated testing practices.
• Strong experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Firebase, Firestore, Cloud Functions) is a plus.
• Experience in a startup or international organization is an advantage.
• A BS in Computer Science or an equivalent field is preferred.
• Time off: 5 weeks of paid leave per year.
