Developer Advocate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Be the face of our brand, primarily through video. Host short clips, long-form content, and webinars that resonate with developers.

• Create authentic demonstrations. Utilize our API and the tools you evaluate to showcase functionality from start to finish.

• Engage in the dialogue. Position SearchApi in comparisons, best-of lists, and discussions that developers genuinely follow, based on merit.

• Participate where developers gather. Attend talks, podcasts, livestreams, and occasional conferences. Manage our social presence and community at a technical level.

• Complete the feedback loop. Relay developer insights, challenges, and feature suggestions back to the product team. Act as our ears, not just our voice.

• Contribute when it adds value. Draft launch announcements, integration tutorials, and example applications that facilitate understanding of the API.

• You are responsible for shaping how developers interact with SearchApi. You will determine the formats, frequency, and topics that resonate.

• Truly technical. You can create the demo you are presenting.

• Captivating on camera. You exude clarity, engagement, and authenticity on video and in front of an audience.

• Fluent in English at a native or C2 level. Precision in delivery and understanding of nuances is essential.

• Professional setup. Your audio and video quality should meet high standards.

• Consistent and self-motivated. You meet deadlines without needing reminders.

• A genuine affinity for developers. Engaging with questions and nurturing a following invigorates you rather than exhausts you.

• Required experience includes links to technical content you've created on camera.

• We particularly seek: A pre-existing audience or following, experience with conference presentations, podcasts, or livestreams, community engagement (Discord, forums, open source), content focused on developer tools or APIs, and strong editing capabilities.
