This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of homeowners' property claims from inception to resolution.
• Verify the facts of loss, assess coverage, evaluate damages, and negotiate settlements within your designated authority.
• Oversee the complete claim lifecycle, which includes handling supplements, Additional Living Expense (ALE) claims, and losses related to contents and personal property.
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure claims are managed effectively and accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service through prompt and clear communication.
• Manage all facets of Homeowners first-party claims, encompassing coverage, damages, and subrogation processes.
• Collaborate with fraud and subrogation teams to optimize outcomes.
• Recognize and assess components of residential construction and repair, as well as the integrity of structures and home systems.
• Identify customer needs and employ suitable customer service techniques.
• Assess potential for subrogation or fraud and determine the correct course of action.
• Utilize advanced experience at the Adjuster II level or transition into specialized roles.
• Proven experience as a Property Desk Adjuster, ideally based in North Carolina.
• Proficient in using Xactimate software.
• Strong background in claims management, covering supplements, ALE, contents, and overall claim accountability.
• Preference for candidates with experience in both field and desk claim settings.
• An active adjuster license or a license that qualifies for reciprocity in relevant states is highly preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance policies and the insurance sector.
• Knowledge of residential construction and repairs, including structural integrity and home systems.
• Capable of discreetly and independently investigating coverage, damages, and subrogation matters.
• Excellent organizational abilities.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Candidates with an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and may not hold outside appointments during their employment.
• Applicants holding a resident producer license must relinquish that license as directed by the licensing team.
• Remote work requires a dedicated, private workspace, suitable desk and seating arrangements, and reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
