Designer I – Civil

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Employ AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop engineered construction plans and set up sheets, which include plan views, sections, elevations, and details.

• Collaborate closely with civil engineers to understand design intentions and convert them into precise CAD drawings.

• Aid in creating exhibits and plans for grading, drainage, road design, and erosion control.

• Adhere to internal and client standards and procedures for drafting and design.

• Assess design alternatives for feasibility, compliance with codes, and site challenges.

• Work together with team members to achieve project deadlines and provide high-quality deliverables.

• Support the production of civil engineering designs and construction plans under the mentorship of seasoned engineers.

• Engage in civil projects that vary from site development to enhancements in infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma is required.

• Completion of an Autodesk AutoCAD certification program or equivalent drafting experience is necessary.

• 0–2 years of experience in civil design or drafting is required.

• An associate or technical degree in CAD, civil engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
