This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
β’ Develop and sustain deliverables and processes in line with the key area responsibilities of the Compute and Connectivity Design Support Team.
β’ Generate and oversee Engineering Change Requests for GM semiconductor part numbers.
β’ Evaluate and authorize submissions of supplier semiconductor resiliency plans.
β’ Establish and manage GM semiconductor catalog items as designated.
β’ Create electronic circuit schematics as required.
β’ Assist GM IT and Purchasing with semiconductor initiatives.
β’ Design and maintain templates and tools; support or outline enterprise sourcing strategies and business models based on the key area of focus.
β’ Collaborate with execution teams to guarantee that the GM strategic vision is realized by design teams in the selection of ECU semiconductor components.

β’ A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field of study.
β’ A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Design Release Engineer β Security Gateway, Product Design Engineer, Hardware Test Engineer, Hardware Engineer, or in a similar role.
β’ At least three (3) years of experience in: Automotive Component Release processes; Automotive Change Management processes; Product Development engineering; Product design and development cycles; ECU schematic creation; Hardware validation of ASICs; Printed Circuit Board debugging; PCB thermal validation; creating Semiconductor Design Reference Manuals; and developing ECU Component Technical Specifications.
