Design Engineer – Passive Thermal Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the design, modeling, and documentation of passive thermal insulation systems.

• Create comprehensive 3D and 2D models along with engineering drawings for passive thermal insulation systems utilizing CREO.

• Generate drawings in .CATDrawing or .drw file formats in compliance with program standards.

• Assist in the design of MLI blanket flat patterns, layup stackups, and installation specifics for cylindrical and intricate geometries.

• Confirm that all models and drawings are thoroughly completed and primed for peer review and final approval before submission.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience in place of a degree).

• 3–8 years of experience in engineering design or drafting in the aerospace, defense, or a related sector.

• Expertise in CREO for 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation.

• Experience in producing engineering drawings in .drw format.

• Proven ability to develop and document engineering requirements.
