Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to defining the future of design-to-code at OnePay.

• Create production-ready components directly, leveraging AI coding tools extensively.

• Work closely with the Design Systems Engineer to advance the design platform and the associated pipeline.

• Collaborate with the Creative Lead to efficiently produce visual work with precision.

• Influence the evolution of handoff processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both Figma and coding (React Native or React).

• Regular use of AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, v0, or similar) at a production speed.

• Knowledge of design tokens, component architecture, and the relationship between design systems and code.

• Experience working within cross-functional teams where design and engineering intersect.

• Excellent communication skills across both disciplines.

• Proven ability to thrive in dynamic environments and contribute to defining team workflows.
