Deputy Manager – Data Sciences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create data science models and algorithms to analyze information and address business challenges.

• Design integrations for enterprise applications and develop applications.

• Host and maintain applications on the Azure Cloud platform.

• Construct and manage data processing and storage systems, along with data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Collaborate with teams and client stakeholders to identify needs and deliver data solutions.

• Present insights through reports and presentations.

• Investigate the latest technology trends to enhance existing models and systems.

• Perform research to enhance model performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, MCA, Data Science, AI/ML, IT, or related fields.

• B Tech / M Tech / MCA qualification.

• 4–5 years of pertinent experience.

• Strong programming capabilities in Python or R and SQL.

• Proficiency in statistical analysis and machine learning methodologies.

• Practical experience in NLP and NLU.

• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools like Power BI.

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platforms and SharePoint, including Power Automate.

• Expertise in designing and managing data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Experience with data storage solutions like Azure SQL.

• Understanding of data quality and governance principles.

• Familiarity with Databricks for big data processing and analytics.

• Proficiency in Azure cloud platforms.

• Knowledge of hosting and supporting applications on Azure Cloud.

• Awareness of cloud security and compliance best practices.

• Experience in agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira.

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language.

• Experience working within cross-functional teams.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to remain informed about advancements in data science, AI/ML, and cloud technologies.

• Experience in conducting research and enhancing model performance.

• Ownership and accountability for assigned projects.

• Flexibility to engage in cross-team projects across various domains.

• Strong critical thinking skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

• Advanced certifications and experience in big data technologies and real-time data processing.

• Azure Data Scientist Associate certification.

• Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.

• Knowledge of Consumer Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Business Research is a plus.
