This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the management and take responsibility for a segment of the RAPID project.
• Represent the Chief of Party as necessary, including global engagement with the donor.
• Manage critical operational elements related to the development, execution, and consolidation of the RAPID project.
• Act as a liaison to the Department of State (DOS) / Bureau of Disaster and Humanitarian Response (DHR).
• Contribute to enhancing coordination among program and operations leaders.
• Effectively oversee talent management and provide supervision.
• Identify and mitigate risks by monitoring national and regional factors that could affect staff and programming.
• Advocate for, uphold, and exemplify a commitment to the efficient utilization of agency and donor resources.
• Foster relationships with key personnel from consortium partner organizations.
• A Bachelor’s degree in international development, International Relations, or a pertinent technical field.
• At least 5 years of relevant management and technical experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing donor funds, including multi-country grants, with a solid understanding of budget management.
• Recognized technical expertise and qualifications in the sector as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, etc.
• Proven experience in successful management, including overseeing functions of complex, high-value, multi-activity projects with intricate logistics.
