This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Create both shared and client-specific environments, including production, non-production, and disaster recovery settings.
• Conduct installations, configurations, and deployments of servers and applications.
• Configure IIS Server by establishing websites and troubleshooting related issues.
• Execute SQL Server tasks such as database backups, restores, user permissions, and script deployments.
• Manage migrations of servers and applications, as well as operating system upgrades.
• Handle Active Directory functions, including user and group creation, and delegation.
• Generate systems reports utilizing SQL Report Builder through scripting and automation.
• Triage, analyze, and coordinate issues concerning applications hosted on either shared or client premises.
• Draft and update technical documentation for existing or new procedures and maintain a service catalog.
• Be prepared for overtime or after-hours support for urgent issues, production core releases on weekends, and during peak periods.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience paired with a degree in Computer Software or Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency in Windows Server 2012-2019, including installation, configuration, management, and IIS Role.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (such as PowerShell, VBScript, CMD, SQL) including analysis and development skills.
• Exceptional time management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Experience working within domain environments, including Active Directory or LDAP.
• Familiarity with N-Tier Applications that involve IIS web front ends, .Net Services, and SQL Server DB back ends.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP Protocol, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
