This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, direct, and coach a team of contractors, offering guidance, support, and clear expectations to ensure timely and quality task completion.
• Evaluate contractor performance, productivity, and work quality, proactively identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Execute onsite implementation project planning, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule, and subcontracting services, integrating these with the master project plan.
• Manage the implementation plan by maintaining open communication with both internal and external stakeholders, particularly with the supply chain regarding delivery timelines.
• Perform comprehensive hardware inspections, quality control assessments, and pre-deployment testing to identify and address potential issues.
• Set up the hardware environment for System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Performance Testing, actively participating in the testing process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues, both remotely and on-site, to minimize downtime and guarantee optimal robot functionality.
• Document all hardware-related challenges, solutions, and best practices in a clear and organized format.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in autonomous robotics hardware and provide insights to help enhance the company's competitive position.
• Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new products.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for customers, team members, and service partners.
• Capability to manage site implementation across teams, including the client's operations and IT teams as well as various site contractors.
• Experience in warehouse automation, manufacturing automation, or electrical and mechanical installation.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new complex problems and acquire new technologies on the fly.
• Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude, with enthusiasm for learning and problem-solving.
• Proficient in online collaboration tools and MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily visiting client sites Monday through Friday.
• Ability to work without visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or 3-5 years of equivalent industry experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of PLC programming (preferably with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs) and HMI programming is a plus.
• Experience with robotic systems is an advantage.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a plus.
• Must be available for travel
