Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Collaborate in the design and development of production AI agents alongside customer engineering teams.

• Lead the technical success in pre-sales by crafting proof of concepts (POCs), addressing complex technical inquiries, and guiding evaluations.

• Assist customers in deploying and managing agent-based applications, including conversational agents, research agents, and multi-step workflows.

• Provide post-sale architectural advice, best practices, and support for roadmap-level decisions.

• Conduct technical demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops tailored for developer audiences.

• Gather feedback from the field and contribute reusable patterns, cookbooks, and example code that can be scaled across various customers.

• Occasionally contribute code upstream when it significantly enhances customer outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years in a relevant technical position (such as software engineering, customer engineering, solutions engineering, or product engineering), preferably within a startup or scale-up environment.

• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, and foundational systems knowledge.

• Experience in designing agent-based or LLM-powered applications that extend beyond basic API calls, including multi-step workflows, orchestration, and failure management.

• Comfortable engaging directly with customers during POCs, architectural assessments, and technical evaluations.

• Ability to clearly articulate technical trade-offs and foster trust with developer audiences.

• Willingness to take ownership of outcomes rather than merely providing recommendations.

• A proactive approach with a passion for solving problems as they arise.

• Enthusiastic about the operational aspects of AI agents in production, rather than focusing solely on creating demos.

• Experience deploying AI agents in production, particularly with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks (preferred).

• Familiarity with LLM evaluation, observability, or guardrails (preferred).

• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers, and fundamental Kubernetes concepts (preferred).

• Proven track record of shipping and managing production software while being comfortable with real-world constraints (preferred).
