Dental Virtual Assistant – Dental VA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming calls and assist patients with their inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.

• Efficiently schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.

• Send reminders for appointments through phone, SMS, or email.

• Follow up on missed appointments and arrange rescheduling for patients as needed.

• Accurately maintain and update patient records in the clinic management system.

• Promptly handle emails, chat support, and other patient communications.

• Provide assistance with insurance verification and address patient billing questions.

• Execute recall campaigns and follow-up communications for returning patients.

• Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and clinic staff regarding schedules and patient issues.

• Offer general administrative and customer service support as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Virtual Assistant, Medical Virtual Assistant, Dental Virtual Assistant, or in a customer support role.

• Strong communication skills coupled with exceptional customer service abilities.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Experienced in handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing emails.

• Familiarity with healthcare or dental administration is a plus.

• Knowledge of dental or medical software applications is advantageous (e.g., Dentrix, OpenDental, Cliniko).

• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Capability to work independently in a dynamic healthcare setting.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality when dealing with patient information.
