This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Comprehend the complete dental revenue cycle, ensuring the timely and precise posting of insurance payments.
• Provide in-depth knowledge of dental coding laws and regulations, as well as posting guidelines.
• Implement necessary adjustments on insurance payments as required.
• Demonstrate efficient knowledge and execution of Coordination of Benefits.
• Prepare and submit accurate claims to insurance companies daily, aiming to minimize any timely filing denials.
• Investigate and resolve claim rejections swiftly and accurately, decreasing the numbers on insurance aging reports while simultaneously increasing collections.
• Possess knowledge of proper account receivables, notations, and the management of patient statement queues.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and clients.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in dental insurance billing.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and effective techniques for managing the dental revenue cycle.
• High school diploma or GED; some college coursework is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Expertise in Program Management systems such as Eaglesoft, Open Dental, and Dentrix.
