This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Draft and finalize plaintiff personal injury demand letters (primarily for auto accident cases) that effectively articulate liability, damages, and settlement justification.
• Review and scrutinize medical records and billing to pinpoint essential treatment details, providers, diagnoses, and causation themes.
• Create precise treatment chronologies and damages summaries (including specials and supporting documentation) that are easily reviewable by an attorney.
• Compile comprehensive demand packages, ensuring that all records, bills, and supporting documents are properly uploaded and organized.
• Proactively identify any missing records, bills, or documentation gaps, and drive the follow-up process to resolution.
• Maintain professional communication with clients as needed (providing updates, clarification questions, follow-ups), meeting the client’s high standards for tone and clarity.
• Assist with lien-related tasks as assigned (tracking, requesting balances, organizing lien documents), based on performance and experience.
• Consistently adhere to firm processes and deliver a dependable weekly output of at least three demand letters with minimal oversight.
• **Must-Have:**
• - Previous experience in plaintiff personal injury, including direct, hands-on responsibility for demand writing (required).
• - Demonstrated capacity to draft PI demand letters independently from start to finish (not merely editing or filling out templates).
• - Strong experience in reviewing medical records and bills and translating them into clear treatment and damages narratives.
• - Excellent command of written English with a consistently polished output and minimal dependence on AI tools.
• - Exceptional attention to detail and file organization (able to identify missing items before they are pointed out).
• - Clear and professional spoken English for client-facing interactions.
• **Nice to Have:**
• - Experience with liens (health insurance liens, letters of protection, Medicare/Medicaid concepts, or general lien tracking support).
• - Comfort with remote desktop tools (e.g., LogMeIn) and the flexibility to adapt to various law firm systems and processes.
• - Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Word in a legal production setting (formatting, clean documents, organized folders).
• - Experience in supporting attorneys with additional legal assistant tasks once core demand production is consistently strong.
• Access to a **$200K+ perk marketplace** with discounts on over 150 global services.
• Option to **withdraw up to 50% of approved earnings** prior to payday.
