Delivery Lead – Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the delivery strategy and implementation for one or multiple enterprise software and AI initiatives.

• Act as the main delivery liaison for client leadership, ensuring alignment regarding scope, priorities, risks, and outcomes.

• Collaborate with Architects, Technical Leads, and engineering teams to guarantee that solutions are technically robust and ready for delivery.

• Develop and sustain delivery roadmaps, resource plans, budgets, and strategies for risk mitigation.

• Facilitate coordination across teams, ensuring that dependencies, blockers, and risks are identified early and addressed promptly.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools to improve planning, estimation, documentation, and reporting processes.

• Ensure adherence to modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, testing, observability, and secure development.

• Manage executive-level communication and reporting, translating technical advancements into business-relevant insights.

• Lead discovery, scoping, and solution-framing sessions with both clients and internal teams.

• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement among distributed teams.

• Provide mentorship to Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and other delivery professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in leading complex software delivery projects within enterprise environments.

• Strong grasp of modern engineering practices, especially in Java full-stack, cloud, and API-driven architectures.

• Experience in delivering or supporting AI-enabled features or integrating AI/ML services.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior client stakeholders and manage high-visibility, multi-team initiatives.

• Extensive experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, hybrid models) and the capability to adapt them to client requirements.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills, with the ability to connect business and technical contexts.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and contemporary DevOps practices is advantageous.

• Proven track record in managing budgets, timelines, risks, and cross-functional teams at scale.

• A proactive, strategic mindset that can bring clarity and structure to ambiguous situations.
