Delivery Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Facilitate regular customer sessions with operators and builders who will utilize the system, highlighting the real-world conditions that influence what is built and how.

• Develop the interfaces, field agents, automations, data models, and integrations that transform a solution vision into operational systems.

• Address the discrepancies between design and reality: when user feedback indicates a design flaw, provide the solution rather than merely flagging the issue.

• Work efficiently using AI and reinvest the time saved into customer engagement; the time spent with customers is actively monitored and valued by this team.

• Ensure the quality of your own work based on actual user behavior, not just the functionality of automations.

• Create reusable development patterns that extend the impact beyond individual projects.

• Attain full proficiency in the Airtable platform within 90 days; advanced capabilities in interfaces, automations, data modeling, and integrations are expected as a baseline.

⛳️ Requirements

• AI is integrated into your development process, utilized throughout every phase of delivery: designing, building, testing, and documenting.

• 3–5 years of experience in a client-facing delivery or implementation role, with direct responsibility for the practical functionality of systems, not just their deployment.

• Hands-on technical expertise: you have constructed complex systems involving forms, automations, integrations, and data models, understanding the trade-offs at every layer.

• You can communicate effectively with a diverse audience, including C-level sponsors, technical stakeholders, and business SMEs whose daily operations are evolving.

• You can discern the underlying issues behind customer inquiries. Requests often represent what is comfortable rather than what is truly needed.

• You can identify whether a "this won't work" statement is a design issue or a change management challenge, and you are equipped to handle both.

• You focus on outcomes rather than simply on delivery.

• You have previously mastered a complex platform quickly and can replicate that success within 90 days.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to drive results and ensure cross-functional alignment.
