This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Act as the preferred professional education provider representing Capita.
• Foster professional relationships with employers to encourage them to advocate for Capita's services.
• Inspire and motivate learners to successfully complete their apprenticeships through exceptional teaching and learning.
• Facilitate teaching, learning, and assessments that promote accelerated learning and the application of new knowledge, skills, and behaviors in the workplace.
• Responsible for modifying practices to meet the needs of learners with SEND requirements and making appropriate referrals to the SEND team.
• Aid in the contextual development of Maths, English, and Digital Skills throughout the Learner Journey.
• Accountable for the development and achievement of Functional Skills in Maths and English, ensuring consistent performance against key metrics.
• Enhance the learning process by utilizing educational resources and facilitating on-the-job training as necessary.
• Offer information, advice, and guidance throughout the Learner Journey.
• Ensure learners are informed about all relevant policies and regulations, clarifying expectations and ensuring their safety.
• Oversee learner welfare and workplace health and safety, enhancing learners' knowledge of Safeguarding, British Values, Prevent, and Equality & Diversity.
• A minimum of 2 years of industry experience in Operational Firefighting.
• Proven experience in delivering effective teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Background in a similar educational role.
• Strong understanding of the DFE Funding Rules.
• Familiarity with the Ofsted agenda.
• Exceptional administrative skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, with a quick learning ability for new systems.
• Experience working remotely with the capacity to work from home.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, with confidence in liaising at all levels.
• Capability to prioritize tasks and think on your feet.
• Valid driving license with access to a car, and willingness to work flexibly, travel nationally, and stay overnight as necessary.
• Flexibility to adjust working patterns to meet business needs, including working weekends if required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to cater to individual needs.
• Functional Skills at Level 2 in Maths and English.
